Meet Jeremy Edwards, DDS
Dr. Jeremy Edwards is a board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon serving patients throughout Oklahoma City and Edmond. He obtained his undergraduate education at Oklahoma State University, completing a Bachelor of Science in Biology. Following his undergraduate studies, he attended the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry where he was awarded his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S). During dental school, he was elected by faculty into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society for high academic achievement and received the Southwest Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons award for outstanding achievement in the field of oral and maxillofacial surgery.
After completing his doctorate, Dr. Edwards began a four-year Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency Program at the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville, serving as chief resident in his final year. Recognized for his surgical precision and compassionate bedside manner, he strives to create a comfortable experience and instill confidence in patients throughout their treatment journey.
Dr. Edwards is extensively trained in full-scope oral and maxillofacial surgery with a focus on immediate implant placement, advanced bone grafting, full arch rehabilitation, and third molar removal. To provide the highest level of safety and care to his patients, Dr. Edwards was also trained extensively on both office-based anesthesia and general anesthesia. He is certified in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support.
When he’s not caring for patients, Dr. Edwards enjoys spending time with his family, discovering great coffee, attending live music events, supporting Oklahoma State athletics, and cheering on the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Hi, I'm Jeremy Edwards with Oklahoma dental implants and oral surgery. I'm a board certified oral and maxillofacial surgery. I was born and raised actually right here in Mustang. Went to school here, graduated high school from there, went to Oklahoma State University and got my undergrad and stayed right here in Oklahoma for dental school. At that point, I was kind of unsure. I thought, you know, dentistry was great kind of overall. And then in our third year of dental school, we were actually exposed to a little bit of oral surgery, almost like as soon as I saw it, I was like, wow, this is like a whole different world of dentistry. The thing that I really love to do is do an extraction and immediate implants. So I think that's just a great service to provide. I think patients oftentimes feel like they're going to have to have a tooth removed and have maybe some bone grafting and wait 3 to 4 months, have to come back again, do an implant, wait another 3 to 4 months. So it just kind of a long drawn out process that way. But oftentimes we're able to do both the extraction and the implant at the same time. And they're back to functioning and maybe 3 or 4 months as opposed to maybe 8 to 10 months. So I think that's really nice thing to provide. Here at Oklahoma dental plants and oral surgery. I feel like we have a really great staff and we're all, I mean, almost like friends, right? So we're all happy to work with each other. We're happy to see each other every day. So I think that's the biggest thing. And then obviously being able to provide great care for patients, that's important and making them feel comfortable and being able to smile.
