For more than 20 years, Dr. Perry Brooks has served others as an oral surgeon. He has extensive training and experience in facial reconstruction, treatment of facial trauma and facial cosmetic procedures. He also was on the forefront of dental implants and surgical-laser use in Oklahoma. Dr. Perry Brooks completes many hours of continuing education each year to ensure his patients receive the most advanced care available.
Raised in Blanchard Oklahoma, Dr. Perry Brooks excelled in football and academics, playing linebacker first for Northeastern Oklahoma A&M and then later for the University of Southern California. His interest in art lead to his acceptance into the prestigious Art Institute of Chicago, but family health concerns forced him to complete his education closer to home. In 1986, he graduated from East Central University. Soon after, his interest gravitated to dentistry, leading him to the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry, from where he graduated in 1990. He then focused on a specialization in oral surgery, completing an externship, internship and residency at the University of Miami Jackson Memorial Medical Center. He served as chief resident for their Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery during 1994-1995 before returning to Oklahoma, where he has been in private practice ever since.
Dr. Perry Brooks is a devoted Christian and family man. He provides humanitarian aid with the organization 1040i.org, traveling to Africa multiple times a year to perform life-changing surgeries for those in need. He and his wife of more than 25 years, Karla, have two children: a son, Austin, and a daughter, Emily.
