The Consultation Process

When you arrive for your appointment, a member of our team will welcome you, confirm your information, and make sure you’re settled before your appointment begins. From there, your surgeon will sit down with you to understand what’s going on and what brought you in.

Your visit will include a review of your medical and dental history, a thorough oral examination, and any diagnostic imaging needed to get a complete picture. If 3D scans are recommended, we’ll explain what we’re looking for and why. By the time you leave, you’ll know your diagnosis, understand your options, and have a clear sense of what comes next.

Our Expertise

Our surgeons are oral and maxillofacial specialists who have completed additional years of hospital-based residency training beyond dental school. That depth of training matters — especially for complex cases that require both surgical skill and profound clinical judgment.

Across our team, we bring experience in implant placement, full arch restoration, bone grafting, wisdom teeth removal, facial trauma care, and more. We stay current in technique and technology because our patients deserve care that reflects the best of what the field has to offer.

Patient Comfort and Safety

To make sure you’re as comfortable as possible throughout your treatment experience — every procedure is planned with your safety in mind. From the sedation options we offer to the protocols our team follows before, during, and after surgery, your wellbeing is our top priority.

We use advanced 3D imaging to eliminate guesswork and bring precision to every case. Our facilities are held to strict infection control standards, and our staff is trained to monitor your health at every stage of your visit.

Common Questions About Your First Visit

Most initial consultations run between 45 minutes and an hour. This gives your surgeon enough time to review your history, complete an examination, take any necessary imaging, and walk you through their findings without feeling rushed. If your situation is more complex, it may take a bit longer — and that’s okay. We’d rather be thorough than leave you with unanswered questions.

Bring a valid photo ID and your insurance card. If you have recent dental X-rays or imaging from another provider, those are helpful to have on hand. Any referral paperwork from your dentist is also worth bringing along. If you’re planning to use sedation, you’ll need someone to drive you home — so make those arrangements in advance if sedation has already been discussed.

In most cases, yes. After your examination and imaging review, your surgeon will walk you through what they found and discuss your options. Some complex cases may require additional information before a full plan is finalized, but you will always leave knowing where things stand.
